Common slitting methods of the slitter are as follows:

1. Coiling: the whole roll of wide coiled material is divided into many rolls of narrow coiled material by a high-speed round knife. This method is mainly used for adhesive products.

2. Trimming: A variety of materials are combined to form technical leftovers. The reserved technical leftovers are removed to obtain commodities that meet the technical requirements. This method is mostly used for processing materials such as composite films.

3. Roll dividing: The large roll diameter data is divided into multi roll and small roll diameter data according to the requirements of the winding length and width. This method is mainly used for film substrate and flexible packaging color printing profession.
